Title:   Creating Video as Art

Course Description:

This course is designed as an intensive workshop for creating, editing, and rendering Video as an art form.  From working with a variety of cameras and applications to complex methods of green-screen compositing and motion graphics, students will be exposed to a variety of editing and effects programs, and will learn to use them both individually and collectively as creative digital tools.  
Along with lessons and in-class assignments (culminating in a Final Project), we will be screening work by an array of Video Artists, Filmmakers and Animators, including Katje Loher, Kalup Linzy, Ryan Trecartin, and Rachel Maclean.  
Experience is not essential and all students are invited to take the course.
-This course is not open to Community or Alumni audit enrollment
-This course is a 30-hour workshop
-Tuition: $800
-Class includes a scheduled one-hour break
