JUMBOt

JUMBOt was a Robotics Academy funded project by Amos Winter ('03). Originally designed to compete on the television show BattleBots® JUMBOt is a mechanical masterpiece. Driven by two electric motors each sporting four hoarsepower JUMBOt can travel at speeds up to twelve mph in short distances. It's pnuematically driven arm can lift over 200lbs allowing it to lift more than its own weight.
