About

We Value Mutual Respect

The Department of Psychology at Tufts University values free expression and critical examination of ideas in an environment of mutual respect. We recognize a shared responsibility to create and maintain this environment of mutual respect for the benefit of all, including faculty, staff, postdoctoral trainees, and graduate and undergraduate students. As such, we do not tolerate verbal or physical harassment or intimidation in any form. If we observe harassing or intimidating behavior, we will take action to restore an environment of mutual respect for everyone, including reporting incidents to the Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) which is our obligation according to Tufts policy and the law.

If someone at Tufts or elsewhere makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please tell someone so that we can assess the situation and take steps to address it.
