'Hemispheres: Tufts University Journal of International Affairs'

Hemispheres, one of the oldest publications in the United States dedicated to publishing undergraduate research, publishes academic articles that address a wide range of social, economic, political and legal issues, contemporary and historical, within the framework of international relations.

Submissions are between 5,000 and 8,000 words, and are selected through a double-blind peer review process. The submission deadline for 2019 will be announced shortly.

'Journal of International Relations' (Sigma Iota Rho)

The Honor Society for International Studies, Sigma Iota Rho (SIR), publishes a journal which is distributed to over 160 undergraduate international relations programs as well as to graduate international relations schools.

Print Submissions: articles must be between 2,000 and 6,000 words in length. Print submissions not selected for publication in the Journal are automatically considered for publication in the online Journal. Please send all submissions to sirjournal.print@gmail.com.

Online Submissions: include academic articles (between 1,500 and 4,000 words), book reviews (between 1,000 and 2,000 words), or opinion-editorial columns (800 and 1,200 words). Please send all submissions to sirjournal.online@gmail.com.

'Journal of Politics & Society' (Columbia University)

Columbia University's Journal of Politics and Society is currently accepting student papers for publication in Spring 2019.

The Journal is an academic publication of the social sciences and history, distributed nationally among academics on EBSCO, Google Scholar, and the Library of Congress. In its 29th year of publication, the Journal features exclusively undergraduate work on political and social issues. The Journal seeks outstanding student research papers from seminars, upper-level electives, independent studies and thesis programs.

Submissions are typically between 20 and 50 pages, although all submissions will be considered.

The deadline for student paper submissions is August 27, 2018.

'Southern California International Review'

As a global research journal for international affairs, the Southern California International Review provides undergraduates with the opportunity to have their work seen by the international affairs community at large. Managed and edited by students at the University of Southern California, the Review publishes academic-grade research from undergraduates around the world. Each semester, the Review evaluates submissions and selects up to five full-length works to be printed in the journal and displayed in the online edition. Past editions have pieces from Georgetown University, the Australian National University, Stanford University and other top international affairs programs. Article topics published in the Review range from economic and political issues to cultural and social themes.

Submissions must be between 3,000 and 10,000 words. Submissions are accepted for the journal every semester, and students can submit their work at any time.

The deadline for the Fall edition is September 16, 2018.

'World Outlook'

World Outlook is Dartmouth College's undergraduate journal of international affairs based at the Dickey Center for International Understanding. It is a student-run academic journal that publishes outstanding research papers by undergraduates in the field of international relations.

The journal is currently accepting submissions for the Fall 2018 issue. World Outlook also welcomes submissions from students who have just recently graduated.

Papers should be between 12-40 pages in length, including thesis chapters or excerpts written on topics related to international affairs.

The deadline for the Fall 2018 issue is September 12, 2018.
