Bio
Originally from Carbondale, Illinois, I attended Drexel University in Philadelphia. I received a B.S. and M.S. degree in June 2013 in Materials Science and Engineering, with a focus in Biomaterials. My Masters' thesis explored biomimetic systems and biopolymers.

IGERT Research
Currently, I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering; my advisor is Dr. David Kaplan. My research interests include biomaterials, tissue engineering, wound healing, and drug delivery.
