Shannon Weber has been a Visiting Lecturer at Tufts since 2013 in the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program and the Departments of Education and Sociology. In the fall she will be a Visiting Lecturer in the Women's and Gender Studies Department at Wellesley College. Prior to teaching at Tufts, Shannon taught at Brandeis University and Northeastern University. Her research interests are in LGBTQ studies broadly conceived, as well as intersectional feminist theories, and she is at work on a book manuscript about LGBTQ student cultures at women's colleges. Shannon holds a Ph.D in Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has recent or forthcoming articles published in Sexualities, Journal of Homosexuality, and Journal of Lesbian Studies, as well as in various edited collections, one of which won a 2015 Lambda Literary Award.
