Michelle Holliday-Stocking

Michelle Holliday-Stocking is a full-time faculty member in Education at Tufts University. She has taught courses with a focus on the intersection between gender, race, class, sexuality, and ethnicity as it relates to social inequalities and education. Her primary research interests include the relationship between anti-bullying policy and LGBT youth, teen suicide prevention, and minorities in higher education.

Michelle is currently completing a project on the campus environment for LGBTQ identified undergraduate and graduate students at Portland State University. She recently completed a project assessing the role of media reporting on young adult and teen suicide in the United States. Michelle will be teaching ED 161 and ED 162 in the Education Department, as well as SOC 011 in the Sociology Department.
