Sahar Parsa

Finance and Microeconomics

Sahar Parsa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Tufts University. Prior to joining the faculty at Tufts, Sahar Parsa completed her Ph.D in Economics at MIT. She spent the 2011-2012 academic year at the University of Los Andes, Bogota as a visiting professor in the department of economics. Sahar's current research and teaching lies at the interaction of finance and the real economy. Her research combines empirical evidence with theoretical modeling. In particular, it investigates the role of the investment horizon in financial markets, its consequences at the firm level decision-making and its potential policy implications.
