Giorgio E. Bonacchini is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Tufts University, his research interests concerning the development of novel organic bioelectronic devices.

After obtaining a BSc in Electronics Engineering and a MSc in Nuclear Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy), he has worked on the development of graphene photonic devices at the Cambridge Graphene Centre, University of Cambridge (UK).

He has completed his doctoral training at the Center for Nano Science and Technology (CNST@PoliMi) of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Milan (Italy), his research activities being focused on the realization of edible electronics and cell sensing technologies based on organic electrolyte-gated transistors.

In his leisure time, he likes to wander about Boston with his sprightly wife, read British and American literature classics, and watch feel-good movies. He holds a considerable but unrequited fascination for music and electric guitars.
