Goodman Earns NESCAC Player of the Week Honor

MEDFORD - Sophomore center Emily Goodman(Briarcliff, NY) earned the New England Small College Athletic Conference's (NESCAC) Player of the Week Award for her 31-point, nine-rebound effort during Tufts' 70-62 victory over Johnson & Wales on November 21. Goodman shot 14 of 20 in Tufts' opening game while the Jumbos as a whole shot 52% (26/50) from the field.

Last year Goodman averaged 17.2 points, 7.0 rebounds per game and was named NESCAC Rookie of the Year and second team All-NESCAC. She was also the New England Women's Basketball Coaches Assocation (NEWBA) Rookie of the Year.

Suffering from injuries the Jumbos are looking for Goodman to lead the way in the early part of the season.
