fast in track & field's multi-events

SOMERVILLE -- Sophomore Sarah Nolet (Los Altos, CA) of the Tufts
women's outdoor track & field team scored 4,014 points to top a
three-woman field at the Last Second Heptathlon hosted by the Jumbos at
Dussault Track. The score was 86 points shy of the 4,100 NCAA
provisional qualifying mark, but stands as the current best among New
England Division 3 multi-event athletes.
In four events on Friday, Nolet scored best in the high jump by
clearing 5'0 1/2" (1.54 meters). That was worth 666 points. Her 800
meters run on Saturday was nearly as impressive, scoring 653 points with
a 2:33.20 time.
Karyn Moss and Sara Turner of Williams College also competed the
seven events, scoring 3,848 and 3,280 points, respectively.
