HANOVER, N.H. -- The Tufts University women's track & field team scored 32 points at the 2007 New England Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Dartmouth College. The Jumbos placed eighth overall and were second among New England Division III schools.

Leading the effort was the 1,500 meters pair of junior Cat Beck (Brookline, NH) and senior tri-captain Sarah Crispin (Auburn, ME). Beck finished second at the meet with a time of 4 minutes, 31.28 seconds that ranks third in the nation on the NCAA performance list. Crispin also ran an NCAA automatic qualifying time with her 4:31.77 for third place at the New England race. Together they scored 14 points for Tufts.
