MEDFORD -- Sophomore Paula Dormon (Brockton, MA) showed her versatility as a track & field athlete for the Tufts indoor team at the MIT Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Jumbo squad was split between the meet at MIT and Boston University's St. Valentine Invitational.

Dormon led the squad at MIT, finishing fourth in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.84 seconds and taking third in the shot put with a best heave of 37 feet, 6 1/2 inches. Traditionally a shot putter for the Jumbos, she proved to be fleet of foot on Saturday as well.

Other Jumbo highlights included senior Sade Campbell (El Cajon, CA) tying for second place in the high jump by clearning 4' 9 3/4". Sophomore Kate Charyk (Spokane, WA) placed fourth in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 20 minutes, 10.92 seconds. Senior Jess Mactas (New Canaan, CT) competed at both BU and MIT during the same day, taking sixth in the long jump at MIT with 15' 1 1/2" distance. Senior Kenzie Rawcliffe (Winterport, ME) was fourth in the triple jump at 33' 0 1/4".
