HANOVER, N.H. -- In rainy conditions at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, the Tufts University Women's Outdoor Track & Field team had many top five finishes in a meet featuring Division I, II and III programs.

Freshman Katy O'Brien (North Easton, MA) won for the second time in as many weeks, this time taking the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase in 11 minutes, 23.60 seconds, less than three seconds off the NCAA provisional mark. Tufts also got a runner-up effort in a small Triple Jump field from freshman Mackenzie Rawcliffe (Lynnfield, MA), who went 34 feet, 9 1/2 inches. Classmate Kaleigh Fitzpatrick (Lynnfield, MA) was third in the 200 meters with a time of 26.7 seconds.

Freshman Cat O'Brien (Brookline, NH) was barely a second off the NCAA provisional time with her 4:42.11 for fourth place in the 1,500 Meter Run. Even closer to the NCAA qualifying mark was sophomore Sade Cambell (El Cajon, CA) whose best High Jump of 5 feet, 4 1/4 inches was only a 1/4 inch off the provisional standard.

The Jumbos took third in both relays, with the 4x100 group timing 51.13 seconds and the 4x4 at 4:11.55.
