BOSTON -- The first meet of the 2003-04 Tufts University Women's Indoor Track & Field season produced some fine efforts by the Jumbos. The Husky Winter Carnival hosted by Northeastern University was a non-scoring meet featuring competitors from Divisions I, II and III.

Leading the Tufts effort was senior captain Jessica Trombly (Nashua, NH) winning the 500 Meter Run with a time of 1 minute, 16.25 seconds. Junior Sika Henry (Upper Montclair, NJ) also had herself a fine afternoon by placing second in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:23.74 and second in the High Jump with a leap of 5 feet, 4 inches.

Sophomore Rachel Bloom (Sharon, MA) finished third in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 26.39 seconds.
