MEDFORD - The Tufts Women's Indoor Track & Field team hosted their third Invitational of the new year on Saturday and came away with their third consecutive win. Competing against regional opponents such as Wheaton, Stonehill and SUNY-New Paltz, the Jumbos ended the meet with 220.5 points, 23.5 ahead of Wheaton's 197. Stonehill College, with 85 points, rounded out the top three.

Leading the Jumbos was junior Jessica Trombly (Nashua, NH) with wins in the 600 Meter run and the 55 Meter Hurdles. In the run, Trombley crossed the line in 1 minute, 34.29 seconds, more than four seconds faster than second place. In the hurdles she finished in 8.52 seconds.

The Jumbos dominated in the long distance events. Junior Lauren Caputo (Belmont, MA) won the 1,000 Meter run, finishing in 3 minutes, 5.95 seconds. Senior Mary Nodine (Portland, ME) won the 1,500 Meter Run in 5:02.04.
