WESTON -- The Tufts Jumbos built a 30-17 halftime lead and built on it in the second half en route to posting a 71-38 victory at Regis College in women's collge basketball action on Tuesday night. The 33-point margin of victory is the team's largest since a 66-33 win over Lasell on January 22, 2000.

All 13 players saw at least four minutes of action for the Jumbos, and 12 scored. Junior forward Emily Goodman (Briarcliff, NY) with 12 points and senior guard Katie Kehrberger (Waldwick, NJ) with 10 were the only Jumbos in double figures. Freshman Krissy Nierenberg (Lebanon, NH) had the best game of her young career with eight points.

The Jumbos posted a 61-41 margin in rebounds, with Goodman's 14 leading the way. Head Coach Janice Savitz's team also turned 28 Regis turnovers into 25 points. The host Pride were led by 14 points and 11 rebounds by forward Cait Connolly.

Tufts next travels to Lasell on Thursday (Dec. 6).
