Meet Results
BOSTON -- With the rest of the team up at the Bowdoin
Invitational, senior quad-captain Billy Hale (Menlo Park, CA)
and classmates Matt Tirrell (Burlington, MA) and Scott
Brinkman (Alamo, CA) were in action at Boston University's
Terrier Invitational on Saturday.
All three Jumbos were top 20 finishers. In the 35-man 500 meters
field, Brinkman ran 1:06.38 to place 10th overall. Among 45 runners in
the 1,000 meters, Hale was 15th with a 2:31.13 time and Tirrell was
close behind with a 2:31.32 time for 17th place.
The Terrier Invitational was a non-scoring meet featuring collegiate
teams from all levels along with post-graduate competitors.
