NEW LONDON, Conn. -- Sophomore Trevor Donadt (Northborough, MA) won the 400-meter hurdles and was second in the 110-meter hurdles, while junior James Bradley (Atkinson, NH) leapt to the high jump title, leading the Jumbo men's outdoor track & field team's effort at the New England Division 3 Championships hosted by the Coast Guard Academy Thursday through Saturday. Tufts scored 49 points as a team to place fifth.

Donadt won the 400 meter hurdles in 54.36 seconds, beating Williams College junior Joseph Buck by over a second. Donadt's time of 15.29 seconds in the 110-hurdles was behind Wheaton College's Howard Powell (14.78). Tufts sophomore Ikenna Acholonu (Shoreline, WA) earned a third in the 110 hurdles with a 15.30 finish.

Bradley and senior quad-captain Jeremy Arak (Ipswich, MA) went 1-2 in the high jump. Both cleared 6'4 3/4" with Bradley's round of jumps more efficient. Jumbos scored in three spots overall for the high jump, with sophomore Isaiah Paramore (Charlotte, NC) scoring seventh with 6'0 3/4" clearance.

Senior Joe Brown provided another highlight with a season's best hammer hurl of 172'0" (52.42m). That was seventh at the meet, but surpassed the NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 168'10".

Williams College won the New England Division 3 team title with 151 points.
