SPRINGFIELD -- The Tufts Men's Lacrosse team scored six unanswered goals in the second and third quarters on their way to a 10-7 victory over Western New England College on Wednesday afternoon. Six different Jumbos scored the goals that gave Tufts a 9-4 lead at the end of three quarters.
Sophomore Bryan Griffin (West Islip, NY) led Tufts with three goals, while classmate David Taylor (Burke, VA) and senior tri-captain Alex Kerwin (Bethesda, MD) each had two. Sophomore Luke Chicco (Merrick, NY) made his first career start in goal and was excellent with 12 saves. The Tufts offense forced WNEC goalie Pat Dabrowski to make 30 saves.
