WALTHAM -- The Tufts University Men's Lacrosse team swamped Endicott College with goals by 14 different players and 50 shots on net in a 19-8 victory on Saturday. The victory pushed the Jumbos to 2-1, while the Power Gulls dropped to 2-1.

With the game tied at 3-3 late in the first, Tufts then scored 12 unanswered goals to lead 15-3 following a goal by sophomore Devin Clarke (Ridgewood, NJ) at 13:18 of the third quarter. Clarke scored all three of his goals in the game during this stretch. An Endicott goal by Kevin Lally stopped the rally, but Tufts had the game well in hand.

Sophomore Bryan Griffin (West Islip, NY) scored three goals with three assists to lead the Jumbos. Classmate David Taylor (Burke, VA) had a pair of goals and assists for four points. Sophomore Luke Chicco (Merrick, NY) started in goal and played the first half, making five saves. Senior Mike Terrasi (Franklin Square, NY) played the second half and also made five saves.

Paul Lord and Sam Chidester each scored twice to lead the Endicott attack. Matt Bagshaw and Ryan Walsh faced the Tufts assault in goal, making 14 and 17 saves respectively.
