MEDFORD -- Visiting Wesleyan University scored five straight goals during the final five minutes of the fourth quarter, including the game-winner by junior Craig Schortzmann (Setauket, NY) at 3:02, to post a 13-10 come-from-behind victory over Tufts University in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon.

Tufts took a 10-8 lead on senior Greg Molinelli's (Northport, NY) fourth goal of the game at 6:51 of the fourth quarter. Wesleyan then took over the momentum, with sophomore Andrew Rotando's (Boston, MA) third goal of the game at 4:55 igniting the five-goal surge. Schortzmann had both the tying and go-ahead goals, the last of which barely rolled across the goal line.

The host Jumbos led 6-2 after the first period with Molinelli, playing in his final home game at Tufts, scoring three goals. Wesleyan closed the gap to 7-5 by halftime with junior Rob Wilcox (Brooklyn, NY) posting a goal and an assist in the second quarter. Tufts kept its two-goal lead at 8-6 after three quarters, but the Cardinals outscored the Jumbos 7-2 in the fourth.

The win stopped a two-game losing streak for Wesleyan (9-4), which got six saves from junior goalkeeper Lukas Cash (North Attleboro, MA). A three-game winning streak ended for Tufts, whose sophomore goalie Kirk Lutwyler (Ridgewood, NJ) made 11 saves. Both Wesleyan's John Landay (Baltimore, MD) and Tufts' Dan Kollar (Middle Island, NY) scored their 100th goals of their career in the game. Kollar finished with four goals to set a new single-season record for the Jumbos with 46.
