PORT RICHIE, Fla. -- The Tufts University Men's Lacrosse team secured their second win of the season yesterday with a 17-7 win over Hamilton College at the Sun Coast Tournament in Port Richie, Florida. 

The Jumbos scored four goals on two assists in the first period, holding their opponents scoreless.  Hamilton rallied in the second period scoring three goals, however Tufts scored twice and ended the half ahead by a score of 6-3.  In the third period, Hamilton posted another four goals and managed to hold Tufts to two goals on ten shots.  The Jumbos broke the game open in the fourth, though, scoring nine goals on seven assists, and keeping Hamilton scoreless in the fourth for the win.

Junior Dan Kollar (Middle Island, NY/Longwood) led the way for the Jumbos against Hamilton, posting five goals and one assist.  Sophomores Brian Cunningham (Wayne, PA/Conestoga) and Jon Zissi (Winchester, MA/Avon Old Farms) were also key for Tufts.  Cunningham had three goals and two assists, posting three of his goals in Tufts fourth quarter run, while Zissi had three goals and four assists, making him the leading points scorer for the game.  Five other Jumbos scored goals against Hamilton including senior Greg Molinelli (Northport, NY/Northport) who also added two assists. 

The Jumbos next match up is their final game of the tournament on Thursday (March 23) against Roger Williams.
