MEDFORD -- Seniors Clem McNally (Far Hills, NJ)
and Jordan Yarboro (Herndon, VA) of the Tufts University
men's lacrosse team are on the 2009 United States Intercollegiate
Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-America Team.
In 1989 the USILA Scholar All-America Program was
established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member
institutions who have distinguished themselves academically,
athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA
Selection Committee selects an overall team representing Division I,
II and III. The Scholar All-Americas were recognized at the annual
Lacrosse All-America Banquet on May 23 in Boston. The 2009 Scholar
All-America team includes 52 players.
McNally is an English major who led the Jumbos in
goals this year with a school-record 53. Yarboro, an International
Relations major, was voted the best long-stick midfielder in New
England for the second straight year.
