GINSBERG, MERRIGAN TO PLAY IN USILA NORTH-SOUTH GAME AT GILLETTE STADIUM

MEDFORD -- The college men's lacrosse world descends upon Greater Boston this weekend and the Tufts University program is involved. Seniors Connor Ginsberg (New Haven, CT) and Tucker Merrigan (Greenfield, MA) will play in the 67th Annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) North-South Senior All-Star Game at Harvard University on Friday (May 23).

The Division 3 North-South game will tap off a triple-header at Harvard on Friday with a 2:00 pm starting time. The Division 1/2 North-South Game will start at 4:00 pm, and the Boston Cannons will host the Rochester Rattlers at 7:00 in a Major League Lacrosse game to highlight the festivities. Friday is the start of a four-day weekend of college lacrosse in the Boston area, with the NCAA Division 1 semi-finals and championship game, and the Div. 2 and 3 championship games to be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

Ginsberg was fifth on the Jumbos in scoring this season with 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points. Merrigan is a three-year starter on defense for the Jumbos. Coach Mike Daly's team finished third in the competitive New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) this fall at 6-3 (9-6 overall).
