| 8/30/02 | Tufts Cross Country has returned from camp and is ready to go for the 2002 season. TUXC graduated several key seniors from last season, but may still have the deepest team yet. With a lot of young talent on the team, it is sure to be an exciting season. |
| 9/9/02 | Results and pictures from the alumni run are now available. The alumni upset the varsity in a narrow 29-30 win thanks to their strong top 3 athletes. |
| 9/9/02 | Tufts raced to a 2nd place finish this saturday in the first 8K race hosted at Grafton this season. |
| 9/15/02 | TUXC finished 5th at the Dartmouth Invite this saturday. The field was made up of some of the best cross country programs in New England. Tufts was able to pack it up - the top five crossed the line within 13 seconds and had more support not far behind. |
| 9/23/02 | Despite several injuries and athletes resting for the week, Tufts placed 7th at its largest meet so far this season. |
| 10/12/02 | Tufts raced to a 15th place finish among many of the top Division I teams in New England. The Franklin Park course turned out some of the fastest times of the season. |
| 10/20/02 | The Jumbos cam out on top in a large field of Division III teams this weekend. Strong races were turned out by Matt Lacey and Ian Joseph. |
| 11/04/02 | Tufts placed 5th at the NESCAC championship race this weekend. While some athletes had an off day, Pete Jurczynski had the race of his life and is looking to make an impact at the Regional Qualifier. |
| 11/16/02 | Tufts placed 6th at the Division III New England Qualifier today. Sophomore Nate Brigham will be looking to earn All-American status at Nationals |
| 11/16/02 | Nate Brigham finished 11th at NCAA Division III Nationals in Minnesota today. This was the highest finish by a Tufts runner in several years. Cheered on by a small group who made the trip, Nate constantly moved up througout the race to pass many of the top New England runners who had beaten him the week before. Nate's placing earns him All-American status. |
