Alumnae / Alumni
ATA (Assocation of Tufts Alumnae)
Tufts women are independent and critical thinkers distinguished
by their leadership ability in all walks of life. Since its founding
in 1905, the Association of Tufts Alumnae (ATA) has supported and
celebrated Tufts women through scholarships and diverse events, both
professional and social. We encourage you to join us as we continue
to serve Tufts women.
Tufts Feminist Network
The Women's Center is working to create a Tufts Feminist Network to
connect Tufts Alum with current Tufts students. It is a network specific
to feminist identity because this allows Tufts alum and students of all
genders to be involved, but also because there are very specific
questions that feminist students have regarding the navigation of this
identity both professionally and personally. For example, these are just
two questions that come to mind: How "out" as a feminist should I be on a resume or in
a job interview? What is the acceptance of a feminist identity and viewpoint
in my field of interest / your current field of employment?
At this, its earliest conception, the hope is to gather a database of
Alum who want to make themselves available to talk with current students
about gender and feminist topics as it relates to life in the "real"
