For Sophomores & Juniors:  Natural Sciences, Math, and Engineering


Astronaut Scholarship
For juniors, seniors, and early graduate students in the natural or applied sciences. Emphasis is placed on "the potential or demonstrated ability and drive to do research and develop new ideas or inventions." Successful applicants will receive a $7500 award, which is renewable until completion of the degree. Only U.S. citizens are eligible.

Barry M. Goldwater
For sophomores and juniors majoring in math, science, or engineering. One-year and two-year undergraduate scholarships for university expenses up to $7,500 per year.

Howard Hughes Honors Summer Institute, New York, New York University
Each selected undergraduate is paired with a faculty member whose research is of interest to the student. Through research, seminars, discussion groups, and lectures, the participants learn about a variety of topics related to the life sciences. Sophomores and juniors are eligible for this summer-long internship. Minimum cum GPA of 3.3 required.
