UEP lecturer Aseem Inam elected to Editorial Board of Architecture Boston

UEP Lecturer Dr. Aseem Inam was selected to become a Member of the Editorial Board of Architecture Boston http://www.architects.org/publications/index.cfm?doc_id=29 one of the leading professional architecture, urban design, and planning magazines in the United States  Aseem was also awarded a grant from the American Planning Association to conduct research on pioneering transit-oriented development projects in San Diego, California.  He has been invited by Columbia University in New York to give a talk about his research on designing urban transformation in the 21st century.  In January, he gave a talk in Mumbai, India about his research on viewing Las Vegas as a prism for understanding American urbanism as the nexus of private profit and public policy.  The talk was co-sponsored by the Rizvi College of Architecture and the Urban Design Research Institute, a leading non-governmental organization that advocates for the fundamental improvement of Indian cities via a number of public fora.
