TUITION & FEES

Tuition

Tuition for full-time students in the M.A. program for the 2008-2009 academic year is $27,472; the tuition for subsequent years will likely increase by about 5% per year.

Tuition for full-time students in the M.P.P. program is one year of Tufts University tuition—$36,630 for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Part time students in either program who take no more than two courses per semester are currently charged $3,662 per course.

All students will be charged a continuation fee each semester after their expected degree completion period. The 2008-2009 continuation fee is $800.

Fees

Graduate Student Activity Fee
This fee of $40 is assessed annually to support the activities of the Graduate Student Council.

Health Insurance Fee
A health insurance fee (estimated at $1,505) is assessed for comprehensive medical coverage for students. If desired, coverage is also available for spouses and children. This fee may be waived if proof of outside coverage is submitted.

Comprehensive Student Health Fee
A comprehensive student health Fee of $620 is charged for use of Tufts Health Service and counseling services and is mandatory for students enrolled half-time or more.
