Steven Calcote, LA
Email alum
General manager of TUTV, 1994-95. During his tenure at TUTV, Steven created original skits, short films, and odd unclassifiable experiments for comedy series Elephantitis, dramatic improv series Slices, and a disturbing drama series called Dark Corners. Steven also served as host of Ivory Tower Combat.
Now based in Los Angeles, Steven currently focuses on developing a career in film directing. As part of that pursuit, he has created a short film production group called the Action Collective and writes original screenplays. His feature-length documentary Minyan In Kaifeng, about ancient and modern Jews in China, is currently on the festival circuit. Updated: 4/18/2002.
