Tufts China Care Club

Founded in April 2007, Tufts China Care is an independent, student-run club at Tufts University, and a recognized chapter under the China Care Foundation, Inc.

We are a group of dedicated students working together to improve the lives of orphans living in the China Care Home, One Sky Foundation's orphanages, and the Family Village Program, who usually face little hope to be adopted due to various reaons, including but not limited to special medical conditions, age, and gender. For our immediate community, we strive to help local Chinese adoptees connect with their birth culture and raise awareness on campus for international adoption and the situation in China in regards to abandoned children.

Our Cause

Tufts China Care fundraises for One Sky Foundation's Family Village Program, which provides foster care for Chinese orphans who do not have the privilege to grow up in a family setting. With our efforts, we hope that these children will be able to receive individual care throughout their childhood, rather than being left under overcrowded institutionalized care.

Here's a video voiced by our very own 2016-2017 co-presidents and cast by TCC E-board members explaining the adoption schemes in China, our cause, and what family means to all of us.
