College for Juniors:
Overview

Admissions to Tufts Summer Study 2008 is now closed. Please check back later this
year for summer 2009 dates and deadlines.
The College for Juniors is offered
exclusively to students graduating in 2009. For six weeks you will be a member
of the larger Tufts community, taking one or two Tufts University courses for
academic credit. You can choose to explore a new subject -- philosophy, economics,
or engineering, or you can choose a favorite subject you want to delve into more
deeply, such as math, a foreign language, science, or drama.
The College for Juniors courses are
offered by the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Engineering. You will study
alongside Tufts and visiting undergraduate students, earning one Tufts credit
per course, which is the equivalent of three or four semester hours at other
universities. You can request that the credits you earn at Tufts be transferred
to the college you attend at a later time.
You can also combine Tufts Summer
Study options by selecting a course offered by the College for Juniors and
enrolling in The Writing Program,
Health Science Honors, or
Ethics and Global Citizenship.
