Tuition and Costs

At Tufts, courses are charged individually.  Your tuition costs are determined by your registration.

*Students submit a nonrefundable $250 deposit within ten days of acceptance to reserve space in the program. The deposit is applied toward tuition costs.

The course fees cover tuition and registration as well as access to university athletic and computer facilities, and a variety of academic workshops. Books and supplies are not included.

The balance of payment for tuition is due upon notification of charges, and no later than June 29, 2012.

 

Withdrawal and Refunds

Withdrawal from any Tufts Summer Study program/course (either from the whole or from individual classes in a refund of tuition charged and/or paid acording to this schedule:

  • 100% - July 5, 2012
  • 80% - July 10, 2012
  • 50% - July 17, 2012
  • On or after July 18, no refund will be allowed.

The $250 Confirmation Fee payment is non-refundable and will be withheld from the refund.

Alll requests for withdrawal must be made in writing to the Director of Tufts Summer Study.  Until written notification is received, tuition will be charged.  Tuition will be reimbursed based on the date the request to withdraw is received.  Absence from the class/program does not constitute withdrawal.

Disbursement of the credit created by the refund will be process through Tufts Student Financial Services.  Visit the Tufts Bursar website to learn how to request the refund.
