Minutes

CHECK BELOW FOR THE LATEST MINUTES!

The following are the minutes from the meeting on September 11, 2011.

1st meeting : We came (to the campus center), we saw (each other) and it was awesome?!
Also who else wants a musical theatre pre-orientation program besides Chloe?

DATES:
Meetings will always be Sunday at 6. (and if they aren't we will let you know)
September 25th is going to be minor proposals.
- a minor is a show proposed and produced in the same semester super fun and extremely great to be a part of.
October 2nd is going to be special event proposals.
- a special event is a new thing for Torn Ticket and is a production that is meant to support a charity. (ie Over the Rainbow)
*For voting purposes I want to remind you that, while being a full fledged member is awesome, in order to vote for minors and special events you don't have to be one yet.
October 16th is going to be major proposals.
- a major is proposed the semester before it is produced and eats up more of your time but brings more love into your life as well.
October 23rd is going to be major voting.
-for majors we give you all a week to think it over before we vote. :)

If you want to be one of the people proposing on the above dates then you have to talk to the Board. (A week and a half in advance pretty please, unless you want to propose a minor then you have until September 18th.) And just so you know we love these people already.

TECH:
If you have ever thought of yourself as a designer or maybe you have no experience but are interested in the behind the scenes magic.... then I implore you to talk to Alex our VP of Tech. Not only is he frighteningly good at technical production but he is super friendly. Go talk to him. Alex.Wallach_Hanson@tufts.edu He needs you for the Fall Major and the Spring. So email him your interest.

Ordinary Days: Final Check-in
They had a post mortem that sounded awesome.
If anyone involved did not get a poster than their copy is labeled and waiting in the box office.
Also Jenna and Rachel talk to Nadav?

Merrily We Roll Along: (this secretary would like to start off by saying props to Mayabea for her 4 hour drive level of commitment to this show!)
Auditions will be this Wednesday and Thursday 7-10. (extension until 11 is on the table)

P-staff expect emails soon, cause they're coming.

SO WAIT Fall Ball. A fail? A ball? you guys said:
A ball that failed around midnight. (Cinderella moment Jeff Richmond?)
No balls fell. (Alex Kaufman that is an accurate statement.)
TUPD asked Shimmer for a photo. I'm thinking a ball. (Can't blame them Jonny Hendrickson)

Conclusion:
Guys in summary this was a great first meeting, and to quote our president "Brief but Brimming" so please come every week because it is going to be a wonderful year. Any questions? email the board.
