Welcome to Torn Ticket II!

Executive Board: 2011-2012

PRESIDENT

Elizabeth Sharpe-Levine '12
Email: elizabeth34999@gmail.com

Elizabeth is a senior drama major. This is her third year on the board, after two years of enthusiastically embracing secretarial duties. At Tufts, she has acted, directed, and dabbled in stage management and props design. She is currently directing (or just directed, depending on when you read this!) the fall 2011 Torn Ticket II major production, Merrily We Roll Along. Her passion for Stephen Sondheim and for theatre at Tufts is only rivaled by her love of science fiction, coffee, and writing everything down.

VICE PRESIDENT, Technical Theater

Alex Wallach Hanson '14

Alex is a sophomore and extremely excited to serve on the board! He has worked as an Assistant Lighting Designer at the Chester Theater Company (Crime and Punishment) and the Boston Conservatory (The Factory Girls), a Lighting Design Intern at the Lyric Stage of Boston (Shipwrecked: An Entertainment!), a Lighting Designer at Tufts University (Pippin, Contact), and an Assistant Sound Designer at Tufts University (Assassins). He is also the Lighting Designer for the upcoming Tufts University Department show, Our Class, directed by Barbara Grossman.

TREASURER

Hanna Freedlund '12
Email: hanna.freedlund@gmail.com

Hanna is a senior Child Development and Clinical Psychology double major who also happens to be your treasurer! With Torn Ticket II, she has acted in "Into the Woods", "Over the Rainbow", and "Pippin", and has designed props for "Little Shop of Horrors" and "Cinderella". When not balancing the budget, taking classes, or doing theatre-y things, she can be found rooting for Boston sports teams, wearing bows & unmatched socks, and teaching preschool.

SECRETARY

Rachel Adams '14
Email: rachel.adams@tufts.edu

Rachel is a sophomore at Tufts who is equally thrilled and scared by mathematics and latin american studies. SO she is planning to major and minor in them. She is serving as the Torn Ticket secretary this year. Last year as a freshman she was a member of the cast in Over the Rainbow, Polly in The Three Penny Opera and Fastrada in Pippin. So far in the 2011 season she has served as a production assistant for the Torn Ticket II O-show Ordinary Days. She is looking forward to this season and can't wait for more opportunities to be involved.

MEDIA ARCHIVIST

Thomas Martinez '12
Email: tcmartinez15@gmail.com

Thomas is a senior drama major who dabbles in many areas of theater. Though he came to Tufts with the intention of pursuing a career in politics, he found theater his sophomore year while playing Lombard in And Then There Were None. He has since acted in From Up Here (Kenny), Play by Play (various roles), and will soon be seen on stage in Our Class (Heniek). He recently directed Reasons to be Pretty, a 3Ps workshop production and set designed for Yerma. Outside of theater he enjoys film and television, having even started a webseries in his freshman year, In Motion, which he continues to write, direct, and act in - check it out at: youtube.com/InMotionShow.
