$4,400 for Women’s Heart Disease!

The annual charity fundraiser for the American Heart Association’s
Go Red for Women campaign was a huge success. In two weeks, the
brotherhood of the Epsilon Theta Chapter of Theta Chi at Tufts University was
able to raise $2,200 for the cause by selling the “little-red dress pin”
all over campus. Brothers set out to help raise awareness for women’s heart
disease – the #1 killer of women in America. An impressive and intensive
campaign lasting for the first two weeks in February (National Go Red for Women
Month) was capped off with a large donation from the Silver Family Foundation
located in New Jersey. The Foundation matched the $2,200 raised by the
brothers for an astounding new total of $4,400! The brotherhood would
like to express their gratitude to the Silver Family Foundation for their
generosity as well as the Tuft’s University students for their support in
extending helping hand in the fight against women’s heart disease.
