Classroom and Curriculum
Each of the four classrooms is staffed by three full-time teachers
who hold either undergraduate or graduate degrees in early childhood
education as well as by graduate teaching assistants, student
teachers, and undergraduate interns. The school features an
exceptionally low child-teacher ratio, an attached playground, and a
full-day schedule with snacks and lunch provided.
The following descriptions present some of the unique curriculum
features you will find in each of our four classrooms. All of these
features are, however, variations on the same core themes within our
program. We seek to offer curriculum that captures the passions of
children, that always stretches and often challenges their present
ideas about the world, and that identifies each peer as a primary
educational resource.
