Welcome Class of 2005!
Our Mission Statement: "As students
concerned with issues surrounding violence, we will explore our identities,
educate the community and ourselves, and create social change".
.
This Fall, 2001,
Tufts Men Against Violence (TMAV) shall be refered to as Tufts Collective
for Men Against Violence (TCMAV). Please keep this in mind if you notice
the two names and acronyms used interchangeably.
.
We hold weekly discussion meetings
in Room 219 of the Campus Center on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 PM. Weekly
meetings are divided into a business portion and a discussion topic led
by a member or guest speaker. Please note that certain meetings will
begin earlier than noted. Check the announcements and events pages for
any changes to meeting times.
.
In addition to meetings, TCMAV holds
and participates in multiple events throughout each semester. Please
take a look at our upcoming events. To learn more about what TCMAV
has done in years past, check out our archive
and newsletters (see publications). In particular,
read the letters from current and former TCMAV officers and the TCMAV history
section.
.
So come to a meeting and find out
what we're all about.
*TCMAV
is not exclusively for men. Women are encouraged to attend meetings
and be active members.
.
