Visiting Students:
How to Register
Have you enrolled at Tufts before?
If you are returning to Tufts University this summer as a
visiting student, and have enrolled at Tufts anytime since
2006 (fall, spring, or summer), you can skip any set up or
preliminary steps and enroll directly using the university's
web-based registration system,
SIS Online
. If you need help logging on (password reset, ID
information, etc.), call the Student Services office at
617-627-2000.
New to Tufts?
If you have never enrolled at Tufts or were enrolled before
2006, you must request access to the university's web-based
registration site,
SIS Online.
- Request Summer Enrollment Status at Tufts
University.
Download and complete the Request for Summer Enrollment
Status form. This is not a registration form. It is an
application for enrollment on which you submit personal
and academic information. Send this form, along with a
$45 Registration Fee payment, to Tufts University Summer
Session, 108 Packard Avenue, Medford, MA 02155.
- Receive Web Enrollment Log on Directions via E-mail
Within five business days after your Request for Summer Enrollment
Status form is received by Tufts, you will
receive an E-mail message from the university indicating
that you are ready to log on to the university's web-based
registration system,
SIS Online
. This E-mail will include a nine-digit university ID number
that you will need to log on and should keep handy for
future use. Follow the directions provided in this email to
complete summer enrollment at Tufts University successfully.
- Use SIS On-Line for Course Selections, Course Edits
and Information
Using the log on credentials provided in the E-mail from
Tufts University, you can access the university's web-based
enrollment program SIS On-Line to submit course selections,
edit course selections (add, drop, withdraw), view course
details (such as course meeting information, classroom
location), and view summer tuition billing charges. You can
use SIS On-Line for enrollment and add/drop anytime from
March 3 until 6:00 p.m. the day before summer classes begin
(either May 20 or June 30).
Walk-in Registration
Tufts University will accept walk in registration at the
Summer Session Information Day held in Dowling Hall on
Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Full payment of any previous
university balance and current summer tuition and fees is
required.Late Registration
If you missed the online registration period, you can still
register on or after the first day of each session by
submitting a Registration Form with
full payment of tuition and fees to the Summer Session
Office. If you are adding a course after its first class
meeting, instructor approval is required. Late registration
will result in the assessment of a late registration fee
($50 through the add/drop period; $100 thereafter). |
