Online Course List

Online courses are available to both Tufts and visiting students. These courses are offered 100% online, with *minimal or no on-campus requirements.

Online learning is a fantastic way to take a course and to experience a learning format that you might really enjoy. Courses are open 24x7 and there are ample opportunities to interact and participate with your teacher and classmates, and contribute in diverse ways to the class.

Online learning is not for everyone though. Be sure you have the time, self-motivation, and discipline required to learn and keep up in this format. Online courses at Tufts Summer Session are subject to the same policies and procedures as summer face-to-face courses. Read more about online courses and online specific policies

* Some online courses may have proctored midterm and final exams. For courses that have this requirement: If you are within fifty miles of Tufts University, you will be required to come to Medford, MA for your exam. If you are more than fifty miles away from Tufts, you may be responsible for finding your own proctor or taking your exam through a remote proctoring service.        1.0 course credits is equal to 4 semester hours at other institutions
       0.5 course credits is equal to 2 semester hours at other institutions

How situations and the people around us influence our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Aggression, attitudes, attraction, attribution, conformity, group processes, helping behavior, non-verbal behavior, self-knowledge, social cognition, social influence, and stereotypes and prejudice. Applications of social psychological concepts to topics such as health, intergroup relations, and law. Recommendations: PSY 0001 or Jr/Sr Standing.
