General Information Meetings

Throughout the academic year, general information meetings are conducted on the Tufts University campus for all students interested in studying abroad. Each meeting lasts about 40 minutes. These meetings will be announced on www.TuftsLife.com and the "Calendar of Events" on our website. It is mandatory for Tufts students to attend one of these meetings before studying abroad.

Program Specific Meetings

Each year in the fall semester, an information meeting will be held for students interested in each of the Tufts programs. In many cases, the resident directors visit the Tufts campus to talk to prospective applicants. Former participants and exchange students from the partner institution will also be present. These meetings will be announced on www.TuftsLife.com and the "Calendar of Events" on our website. Students are strongly urged to attend, in order to learn more about the countries and programs that interest them.

Student Evaluations

Each year, every Tufts student who has studied abroad is asked to fill out a program evaluation. These evaluations are on file in the resource library, and students considering study abroad are urged to read them carefully. You can also talk to students who have recently returned from Tufts Programs Abroad. Names and contact information of students are available in the Office of Tufts Programs Abroad.

The overseas programs that Tufts operates at affiliated institutions are included in this report, which can be found at: http://www.tufts.edu/central/pubsafe/clery/. The publication is also available in print from the Department of Public Safety, located in Dowling Hall.
