Sports and Recreation
Tufts University is a proud member of the NCAA Division III and the New England Small College Athletic Conference. Several of the University's teams are currently ranked among the best in the country - including Tennis, Sailing and Lacrosse. Through team websites, students can showcase their accomplishments, photos, players, and upcoming games. The Shotokan Karate Club, established in 1968, is one of the oldest sports and recreational student organizations on campus with members dedicated to practicing the art of traditional Japanese Shotokan karate.
