Student run publication and media outlets have been successful and long running at Tufts. While the Tufts Daily is the only daily student newspaper and the most prominent source of news for the last two decades, The Observer is a weekly newsmagazine and the oldest student organization on campus, having been founded in 1895. Other impressive media outlets include the WMFO (91.5 FM Medford) radio station which has been operated by students and community volunteers since 1970 and broadcasts 365 days a year.
