Cultural and Religious
Tufts University values a diverse community of women and men of different races, religions, geographic origins, socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientations, personal characteristics, and interests--where differences are understood and respected. The student body has embraced and shaped the school's cultural and religious organizations as means to empower, encourage, and enlighten the Tufts community.

- African Student Organization The African Student Organization not only educates the community about African culture and traditions, but also seeks to bring to light many of the political and contemporary issues surrounding the African continent and community all together.

- American Sign Language Club
The ASL Club aims to provide students at all levels of fluency with a relaxed environment on campus to practice sign language skills, as well as opportunities to attend Deaf events in the Boston area. In addition, the club seeks to educate others of issues relating to the Deaf/hard-of-hearing community, both in a cultural and advocacy sphere. - Arab Students Association ASA strives to disseminate as much information as it deems relevant for Tufts students to better understand all the nation-states and nations which make up the Arab World.
- Asian Community at Tufts ACT seeks to bring all members of the Tufts community together by fostering an environment for instituting political changes concerning Asians and Asian Americans, enhancing social interactions among all students, and creating a better understanding of Asian and Asian American identity at Tufts.
- Catholic Community at Tufts
- Chabad at Tufts - Jewish Student Organization Chabad at Tufts provides the student community with a broad range of highly popular Jewish events and activities. Weekly Shabbat dinners -famous for their warm family atmosphere and delicious, home cooked menu- as well as many other cultural, social, and educational opportunities are offered. Services for Shabbat and holidays are held. Events are held at Chabad House. Its warm and friendly atmosphere has earned it a reputation as a "home away from home" where a meaningful Jewish experience can be enjoyed by students of every background and style of observance.

- European Club The purpose of the European Club is to debate and educate students and faculty about European politics and current events, focusing especially on Europe's path towards unification in the 21st century. The Club shall initiate and co-ordinate efforts that will help the Tufts community understand the challenges of a united Europe and what it means to the rest of the world.

- Hellenic Society The purpose of the Hellenic Society is to introduce the Greek culture into the Tufts community.
- Hillel Hillel strives to provide a strong community that enriches the lives of Jewish students and the University as a whole and that enables members of these communities to come together in an atmosphere welcoming to all.

- International Club The International Club is a cultural organization whose primary goal is to promote an intercultural understanding and exchange among students at Tufts. The I-Club organizes many popular social events, such as the I-Cruise, and a wide range of events during its Inter-Cultural Week, including the Parade of Nations culture show and a lecture series. In addition, the I-Club co-sponsors many initiatives by other groups on campus and organizes many fundraising opportunities.
- Japanese Culture Club The general purpose of the Japanese Culture Club is to educate the Tufts community on cultural aspects of Japan.

- Latter-Day Saint Student Association Tufts Latter-Day Saint Student Association (LDSSA) is an organization to promote religious education and spiritual growth in addition to having "good clean fun".
- Latin American Society at Tufts
- Leonard Carmichael Society The Leonard Carmichael Society was founded in 1958 and is the largest student-run organization on campus. It has almost 70 coordinators and over 1,500 volunteers in 36 programs, each of which focuses on different aspects of community service and advocacy.
- Multiracial Organization of Students at Tufts MOST is a concerted effort by students to create a community, forum, and an awareness of multiraciality and its associated issues, topics, and contentions.
- Muslim Students' Association at Tufts The Muslim Students Association at Tufts (MSAT) is committed to serving the needs of Muslim students at Tufts University and to promote Islamic awareness and tolerance within the Tufts community and neighborhood.

- Tufts China care Tufts China Care helps disabled orphans in China by raising money, sending volunteers to orphanages over the summer, and hosting culturally enriching and fun activities for adopted Chinese children in the Boston area.
