From the southwest, west, or northwest via Routes 2, 3, 9, Interstate 95, or the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90), the easiest approach to the campus is to turn from any of these routes onto the circumferential Route 128 (Interstate 95) and proceed to its intersection with Route 2, exit 29A. Proceed east on Route 2 to the junction of Routes 2 and 16 and turn onto Route 16 east, Alewife Brook Parkway. Follow Route 16 through two full traffic lights. Take the next right, a sharp turn, onto Powder House Boulevard. Proceed to Packard Avenue, the third left, which leads to the campus and to visitors¹ parking.
From Boston, the south, and the South Shore, follow the Southeast Expressway (Route 3) north to Interstate 93 north to exit 31 (Mystic Valley Parkway/Route 16). Follow the exit ramp to Medford Square. At the blinker at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Main Street. Follow Main Street to the lights at Harvard Street, take a right on Harvard Street. Proceed through two sets of traffic lights that lead to the Powder House Rotary. Tufts¹ athletic field is on the right at the rotary. Keeping the field to the right, proceed up Powder House Boulevard to the lights at Packard Avenue. Take a right onto Packard Avenue and proceed up the hill to the visitors¹ parking lot.
From the north via Routes 1, 3, 28, or Interstates 95 or 93, the recommended approach is via the circumferential Route 128 (Interstate 95) to its intersection with Interstate 93. Go south on Interstate 93 to exit 32, Medford Square. Proceed to the center of the square and turn left onto Main Street. From Logan Airport by subway, board the airport shuttle bus to the Airport station on the MBTA Blue Line. Take the Blue Line inbound to Government Center; then change to the Green Line westbound and go to Park Street station; change again to the Red Line outbound to Davis station, and ask directions for boarding either the #96 (Medford Square) or the #94 (West Medford) bus to Tufts.
From Logan Airport by car, follow signs for the Sumner Tunnel and Boston as you exit the airport. Proceed through the tunnel in the left lane; follow signs for Interstate 93 north. Take Interstate 93 north to exit 31 (Mystic Valley Parkway/Route 16). Follow the exit ramp to Medford Square. At the blinker at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Main Street. Follow Main Street to the lights at Harvard Street and take a right on Harvard Street. Proceed through two sets of traffic lights that lead to the Powder House Rotary. From the bus terminals on Atlantic Avenue and the Amtrak terminal in South Station, Boston, follow signs to the MBTA Red Line South Station subway trains. Board an inbound train to Davis station. Ask at this stop where to board either the #96 (Medford Square) or the #94 (West Medford) bus, which will take you to Tufts. Tufts is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square Red Line T stop.

Rt. 95 North (from Providence) to Rt. 128 SOUTH (bear right)
Rt. 128 South to Rt. 3 (r-93) North.
Follow through Boston and stay left on Rt.93 at fork with Rt.1
Four miles after split, take Exit for Rt. 16 Mystic Valley Parkway
Follow Parkway for 2 miles and just after RR underpass, take right onto Boston Ave.
Follow to end (1 mile), then left and quick right onto Sagamore
Follow Sagamore to end, then right onto Mystic Valley Parkway for 1/4 mile (lower Mystic Lake is on your left) then left in driveway.
Boathouse is around to the right.
From the SOUTHWEST:
Mass. Pike (1-90) to Rt. 128 NORTH
Rt.128 North for 5 miles to Exit for Rt. 2 "Arlington/Cambridge"
Follow Rt.2 to the end, then LEFT at rotary onto Rt. 16 East
Follow Rt. 16 for 2 miles to Boston Ave. (3rd major stoplight intersection)
Left on Boston Ave for 1 mile to end, then left and quick right onto Sagamore
Follow Sagamore to end, then right onto Mystic Valley Parkway for 1/4 mile (lower Mystic Lake is on your left) then left in driveway.
Boathouse is around to the right.
From the NORTH or NORTHEAST:
I-95 South to 128 South to 1-93 South
Exit 1-93 an Rt. 60 "Medford Square", following Rt. 60 three miles thru Medford Square
Follow thru rotary, thru Medford and then right onto Sagamore (at yellow flasher)
Follow Sagamore to end, then right onto Mystic Valley Parkway for 1/4 mile (lower Mystic Lake is on your left) then left in driveway.
Boathouse is around to the right.

From the Lake:
Take a right out of the boathouse
Go left around the rotary
Take a right onto Boston Ave
Go straight for a while and take a right at a set of lights onto Curtis Ave
Over the hill is Professor's Row on the left, ATO is on the corner of Curtis and Professor's Row (134 Professor's Row)
From anywhere else:
Follow the above directions to Tufts.
From Packard Ave, take a left at the stop sign onto Professor's Row.
ATO is all the way at the end of Professor's Row on the left, #134.
