TUFTS UNIVERSITY
campus violence prevention project

"I remember everything from when my friend was raped. We were so new to this whole college thing, and when it happened, it was so unreal, so scary. I remember not feeling anything, like I was in a dream, not knowing what to feel or what to say or do, just waiting for it to be over and for everything to be OK again." — Tufts student, 2003

The goals of the Campus Violence Prevention Project are to provide information about on and off-campus resources about sexual assault, rape, relationship violence, and stalking and to provide education and resources that shift the campus culture toward a community free of violence. We strive to offer excellent services in the areas of physical and mental health, academic support, and safety planning and to present many opportunities to learn about creating a non-violent culture.
