Videos from Force Feedback Hand/Glove website of Mr. Bouzit
This is a website that I found while searching on the internet. It details work done by Mr. Bouzit. I believe that his work was done while attending Rutgers University. The earliest video he has included on his website is dated from December 1994. That date seemed very interesting to me - it said that the idea of an articulated robotic hand, with or without a control glove, has been a project that many engineers and scientists have been working on for many years. I wish to credit Mr. Bouzit, as the hand and glove that he constructed were very similar to ideas I had come up with for what each component should look like. His website is a wealth of information, as it not only contains information on the mechanics of "finger angular flexion," but he has also include pictures and videos that help to describe his control system, prototypes, and testing. As the project that I am currently working on is not in anyway as complex as that done by Mr. Bouzit, I would hope to one day see a system as complex being used.
