Residence Halls:
176 Curtis Street
New location of the Muslim Unit for Fall, 2003.
Location - 176 Curtis is located behind Carmichael Hall and next to
Carpenter House, directly on Curtis Street. The house is close to Carmichael
Dining Hall, popular off-campus restaurants on Boston Avenue and the Residential
Quadrangle.
Rooms - All of the rooms vary in size. The first floor consists of
two separate 2-person apartments with a double bedroom, living room, kitchen and
bathroom. The second floor has 4 singles. The third floor consists of a double
with its own shower and toilet. The beds are multi-positioned beds that have
eleven height adjustments up to 32 inches with 30 inches of space underneath
when raised to maximum height. The use of solid cinder blocks or any other
material, is prohibited in 176 Curtis. The second and third floors are all
female.
Bathrooms - There are 2 bathrooms on the second floor and 1 bathroom
on the third floor. All the bathrooms are female with 1 shower, 1 stall and a
sink.
Common Areas - There is a full kitchen on the second floor with a
dining table, chairs, stove, microwave and refrigerator.
Facilities - There is one washer and one dryer on the first floor of
the house.
