Housing Choices
General Information for
Undergraduate Housing
Rooms
All student rooms have a bed, a desk and desk chair,
a dresser and a closet or free-standing wardrobe for
each student. Beds are extra-long single size (80" x 36"
mattress). The beds on campus have been replaced
with new frames that provide for variable mattress
height; these multi-position beds have eleven height
adjustments, up to 32 inches, with 30" of space
underneath when raised to the maximum level. The use of
solid cinder blocks, or any other material or items, to
raise the multi-position beds is not allowed.

Each room is equipped with one telephone jack, one
cable television jack, and an Ethernet port for each
resident. More information on each:
Mail
U.S. and Tufts mail is delivered directly to your
residence hall Monday through Saturday during the
semester. Each room has its own set of mailboxes which
can be opened via a key or by an assigned combination.
